40 members and visitors enjoyed an excellent trip to Slimbridge Wetland Centre on a fine day in March, between them visiting all the hides with a total of 80 species being noted including a rare Snipe sighting.
A highlight was watching a nesting pair of Cranes from the Hogarth hide.

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December and annual subscription rates are:
Individual: £15
Joint/Family: £25
Please send a completed Membership Form to the Secretary who will be pleased to answer enquiries about the Society.
Members can borrow from our Library, which has a wide range of books and the Society subscribes to British Trust for Ornithology, Butterfly Conservation, Plantlife, RSPB and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and their magazines are available to members.
Members also receive the Society SNIPPETS throughout the year, and an Annual Report.
The AGM is normally held in April when the committee is elected - David Beal is the newly elected President of the Society.
